So this week I have been extremely BUSY that I didn’t have much time to come on my laptop and blog (I don’t like blogging from my phone :P). I’m so sorry if I’ve kept you waiting for my posts. Well here I am and I would LOVE to share with you my looks for this past week. All of these looks are showing you how I “normally” dress to university usually. During the winter months I like to play around and experiment with clothes more than I can do in the summer. Here in Kuwait it can get really hot and all I would want to wear is a dress or something to keep me cool. On the other hand, I still want to look my best and FASNIONABLE as much as I can!
Lady in Purple
I feel in love with purple dress the moment I laid eyes on it. Lately it seems I’ve been loving the colour purple on me :p (still green is my favourite colour!). To tell you the truth, as I was growing up I thought I will always dress formally, you know how business women dress and “classy women”. So for some odd reason, this look made me feel that this is the real me. This look made me feel like the “writer” and “politics lover” come out. When my brother saw me in this look he said “you look like a politician’s wife”. However, I love this look. ❤
In this picture I am wearing:
- Purple-wool dress: Cos
- Grey scarf: Pull and Bear
- Recycled Necklace: made from bike chains (from a flea market in Italy)
- Black stockings: H&M
- Bag: Chanel
- Black leather boots: Russell and Bromley
I’ve only worn these pleather pants once, so I wanted to wear them again. Though this time it was more of an edger look then the last look (press the link to see it). My mum keeps reminding me that I am young and to have fun with styles and fashion. When I was in middle school I wasn’t the kind of girl that was starting her hair and wearing lip-gloss, that all happened when I was in year 10 (10th grade) where I became more aware of fashion and all. For some reason this takes me bake to my hippie days. Hahaha I don’t know what a Bicker and a Hippie have in common, do you??
- Jeans vest: Zara
- Dark grey top: H&M
- Blue and green Shahtoosh shawl
- Hoop earring: Forever21
- Burgundy-pleather pants: H&M
- Black leather flat: LV
My mum got me this blue top, and I just loved the colour and martial. On the back it’s a T-shirt and in the front of the top it’s silk. Another thing I love about this top that it’s longer at the back and shorter at the front. Though that I was feeling quite sick, I guess you see it through the picture. I still tried looking my best! To tell you the truth now that I look at this picture I don’t really like how I put myself together. Like: I love the top, earrings and the shoes, but I feel there is something wrong. Do you think so? I think it’s the scarf perhaps.
- Grey long-sleeved top: Zara
- Electric-blue top: Mango
- Black pants: Forever21
- Black high-tops: Buffala
- Black Shahtoosh shawl
- Angle-wing earrings: Alexander Wang
I first called this look “Sporty Rocker Chic”, because I was wearing my Nikes :p. Then one of my followers on Instgram mentioned that there was nothing sporty about it, that it was more “Swagy” and “Kewl”. I never really have used wither words, but “Swagy” did catch my eye and I was like “HEY THAT’S WANT I’LL CALL THE LOOK!” there you go the name was born. Some pointed out the shoes don’t match, I think it did. It brought a whole new thing to the look. What do you think?
- Black leather jacket: H&M
- Yellow and olive leopard-print scarf: Zara
- Olive and black striped top: Zara
- Dark blue skinny-jeans: H&M
- Crystal studs: Claire’s
- Grey and purple high-tops: Nike
