Primers and Concealer!

From left to right:

  • Make up For Ever: HD High Definition Primer (Green)

There are many different primers out there for different reasons. The most famous ones are the primers that hide PORES. However due to hormones and the sun we get redness around our face, and that is when a GREEN primer becomes handy. I REALLY enjoyed using this primer under; tinted moisturizer, press-powder and concealer. It worked amazingly! Not only did it hide the redness on face but it kept my face SUPER hydrated. The plus thing about this is that a little dote goes a long way! When I run out of this product I have to RUN and get it AGAIN!! 😀

  • Sephora Concealer: Medium 07

I have so many concealers that it isn’t funny anymore :p. Anyway, I was at my friend’s house and I was applying makeup at her place, the only type of concealer she had was liquid. When I applied it under my eyes POP out more and gave more light under them. Not only that, because it was liquid it wasn’t very harsh to pat under the eyes. So when I was at Sephora I purchased a liquid concealer, it works great. Would I run to the store for this? No. Why? Because I found out that most liquid concealers do the same job that I’m looking for :P.

  • Too Faced: Shadow Insurance (anti-crease eye shadow primer)

No matter what brand of eye-shadow we are using sometimes it’s HARD to keep it in place all DAY. This is where an eye-shadow primer comes into place. I’ve been trying to get my hands on this primer for months; my local Sephora was out of stock. Now that I have it I REALLY DO LOVE IT! It works like WOW! It makes any eye-shadow true colour come out and it does prevent creasing. Another thing I found out was that it made cream eye-shadows dry FASTER! 😀

Grey Eye-shadows!

  • Sephero Eye shadow: intense black N*01  light and dark grey

Winter is here and I thought it would be nice to make a grey smoky-eye look. I wanted a grey that wasn’t matt but I didn’t want it have much glitter.  This is why I LIKED this pallet; the eye-shadows had a smooth stain finish but still a bit matt. I this grey pallet became my EVERDAY eye-shadow for winter! 😀

As I was shopping for make-up, I bumped into this SWEET glitter eye-shadows. My first insect was “I NEED TO TAKE THESE BABES HOME!” I loved the idea that in one paltte I was able to find 10 AMAZING different SUPER glittery eye-shadows that I can apply in an method to achieve any intensity of glitter I wanted. To make the glitter stand out the best method is to activate the eye-shadow with water and use a silicon make-up brush (look below). I love the quality and design of this pallet!

Makeup Haul and Review: Sephora (Part 1)

Early this month I went to Sephora, my plan was to buy an eye shadow palette from Two Faced but then I realised that I needed more make-up and ended up getting A LOT. It’s been ages since I went proper make up shopping! I’m the kind of girl that likes to try different types of make-up and the ones that I really like I would purchase again. So I thought this would be a GREAT opportunity to get some products that I haven’t tried in the past. This means that all the make-up that I got from Sephora are all my FIRST TIMERS. 😀

photo (63)

I couldn’t spend so much time in Sephora, my aunt was in a hurry to leave. YET I still had time (the knowledge of the store! :P) to get what I wanted. Plus they have really great customer service to help you track the products that you want faster.

Below you’ll see the things that I purchased. I’ll be even reviewing and telling you how I feel about each product. All of products I tried them out. Some I liked and some not so much, anyhow let me go and show you thee PRODUCTS!

Lipsy products!

photo (60)Products from left to right:

I won’t lie, I have so  many red lipstikes, but I can’t get enough of them! It’s a classy colour and it’s alwaya a lip colour that stays in fashion. This was the first time that I ever “MakUp ForEver” lipsticks, yet this deep red caught my eye. I thought it would be the perfect red for winter (I love reds and maroons for winter). The first time I wore this lipstike was when I was invited to a wedding and I was wearing a red dress, it went realy well. The colour lasted all night, for a mat colour it didn’t make my lips dry. Although it’s very rough to apply. Anyway I love this colour this is going to be my WINTER RED! ❤

  • Sephora lipstick (nude): N*04

Nude lipsticks aren’t really my thing. Everytime I buy one I don’t really like it, its very hard for me to find a nude lipstick that I woud like. On the other hand,  when I saw this lipstik I FEEL IN LOVE WITH IT! I loved it  becuase it had an under tone of light brown when I applied it that goes great with my skin. This colour is long lasting, to my schock that when I apply it, it give a glossy effect and it stays put the whole day. The one thing I didn’t like about it, it has this wirred smell (it isn’t a bad smell) I’m just picky with how make-up products smell. The reason is because I have dry skin and many products that have smells can dry up the skin. when I run out of this lipstick I’ll get is again. AT LAST I FOUND A NUDE LIPSTICK I LOVE! YAAAY! 😀

photo (51)

My LOVELY lipstick on the top
On the bottom the SWATCH of the lipliner and lipstick

  • Sephora lip-liner (nude): 05 native nude

As I mentioned above I am not a very big fan of nude lispsticks, and that goes for lipliners too. I never saw the reason of having or using on. Then I bought this lipstick and I thought it would be nice with nude lipstick that I got. The idea was use to use this lipliner to difine my lips to show the outerline of my lips without making it to visble. I think it did the job that I wanted it to. The thing that I don’t like about this lipliner is that the product is so little compaired to the price and other brans. Next time I would try to purchase a lipliner that has more product.

Eyelushes products!

photo (59)From left to right:

  • Sephora Liquid eyeliner: 01 Black

I bet we can all agree that liquid eyliner can be the hardest thing to apply. It can be sumdged eassyly when being applied. It can get on your eyelashes. It even can take a long time to dry out and it’s not very forgiving if you tried fixing your mistakes. Another thing, it’s been almost 2 years SINCE I’ve used liquide eyeliner. I found out that geleyeliner is faster to apply, but won’t give you that intens black that a LIQUID eyeliner would give.

  • Sephora Jumbo eyeliner: 13 marine

I never really liked BIG pencil-liners, I found that they are really hard to sharpen. Plus they tend to be very dry. So the reason why this liner captured my eyes beacues for a BIG pencil-liner it is SUPER CREAMY!

The Too Faced Eyedshadoe pallete!

photo (58)

As I mentioned above the reason why I wanted to go to Sephora was to buy the Too Faced eye-shadow pallet! The other day I was going through my makeup collection and I realised that I DIDN’T have much MATT eyes-shadows. Then I was like this is not good for a person that is starting out a MAKE-UP and FASHION blog/vlog. I then remembered a few weeks ago I saw some lovely eye-shadows at Sephora and then I was like HEY I NEED TO GET ONE OF THOSE!

This pallet contains 6 eye-shadows with 3 highlighting shadows. From top to bottom:

  • Day: Tufted Suede , Chinchilla, Coffee Bean

As the name implies I really liked these eye-shadows if I was going out during the day. I even saw myself going back to these eye-shadows as my go to colours if I wasn’t sure what I wanted to apply.

  • Classic: Velveteen Bunny, Pebbles, London Fog

Most of you know that the classic smoky-eyes has BLACKS and GREYS. So you can see why this line has those colours. I liked using them when I was going out during the afternoon and evening. During the evening I’d add some shimmer to give it more of an edgy look.

  • Fashion: Fresh Linen, Vintage Violet, Midnight

These colours gave the smoky-eye a WHOLE new meaning! I loved the idea of mixing PURPLE with GRYS, it was so much fun. It was perfect of the day out (if you just lighten the colours) and even for a NIGHT out. When I added glitter to it, it just made the eyes STAND OUT.

I liked all the colours and the intensity of them. They were easy to blend out and they stayed on for a long time even without a primer. Although, the primer did give them more definition to their colour. 😀 Swatches are on Part 2 of this blog.

Sorry because I was not able to post all the pictures on this blog I had to split them into 2 parts. Press this link Part 2 to continue this article.
